On March 9th, China Energy Capital Investment Company’s Public Welfare Society, together with more than 80 volunteers from China Energy’s Marketing Company, Media Center, Financial Company, and Power Marketing Company, once again visited Star Hope School to jointly carry out the second season of the volunteer service activity to care for autistic children. Before the activity, the Public Welfare Society fully understood the rehabilitation needs of autistic children, and in collaboration with Star Hope School and professional institutions, designed clay sculpture activity and botanical printing activity for the children. During the courses, 25 pairs of special "one-on-one" pairs composed of volunteers, young volunteers, and children worked together to sculpt their inner worlds with their fingers and displayed the vibrant vitality of spring on canvases.
To help volunteers understand the characteristics of Autistic Children and further enhance their professional volunteer service capabilities, before the start of the course, the Public Welfare Society invited professional teachers from Star Hope School to hold a lecture training session for volunteers, earnestly introducing the characteristics, manifestations, social status, points to note in volunteer service, and requirements for companionship of autistic children, striving to provide a safe and professional rehabilitation space for "Children of the Stars." At the end of the activity, to further establish a normalized mechanism for caring for autism, and to call for more people to join the team caring for autistic children, the Public Welfare Society actively explored diverse public welfare activity models, held the launch ceremony for the "Blue Light Messengers" normalized action, established a normalized and long-term volunteer service channel, consolidated more volunteer public welfare forces from the Group's system, actively constructed social carriers and service systems for autistic children to connect with the outside world, jointly created a favorable public opinion environment of inclusiveness and acceptance for autistic children, aroused more care for autistic children, brought more sunshine and warmth to the hearts of autistic children, and established a "loving and responsible" image of China Energy in public welfare.
